Airstream, Inc (Airstream) is recalling certain 2023 Atlas motorhomes. The 16-gauge branch wires may be under protected by a 20-amp fuse, which could allow the wiring to overheat in the event of a short circuit.
Fix: Dealers will replace the 20-amp fuse with a 5-amp fuse, and install a new circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 29, 2023. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.

Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Atlas motorhomes. The generator may have been installed without a heat shield, which can expose the subflooring to excessive heat.
Fix: Dealers will install the heat shield above the generator, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 6, 2024. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at support@airstream.com, 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-611 ext. 7401.

What a tech checks: Regulator, lines and fittings, then the appliances: furnace, water heater, range. A proper pressure-drop leak test is the first thing a tech does on an LP complaint. Before you buy: Smell for gas with the tank open; have a shop do the leak test.
