Recall 22V348000 (18/05/2022): STRUCTURE:BODY
Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2022 Airstream Classic, Flying Cloud, Pottery Barn, 2022-2023 International, and Globetrotter travel trailers. The manual step may collapse due to the fastener screw pulling through the washer.
Fix: Dealers will replace the old washer and install a Loctite thread locker, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 15, 2022. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.
What a tech checks: Roof sealant, seams, window and slide seals, and the frame. Water intrusion shows up as delamination, soft floors and stained ceilings months after the leak started. Before you buy: Press the sidewalls and walk the floor; look at every seam and seal.

Recall 23V519000 (27/07/2023): ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Bambi, Basecamp, Caravel, Flying Cloud, Globetrotter, International, and Interstate travel trailers. The SmartPlug 30 Amp inlet manufactured with the manganese bronze D-rings may crack or fail when over tightened.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the SmartPlug 30-amp inlet as needed, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 8, 2023. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.
What a tech checks: Voltage drop, grounds, the converter and the transfer switch. Melted shore-cord plugs and bad grounds cause most of the electrical complaints techs actually see. Before you buy: Battery at rest, converter output on shore power, GFCI test, every outlet.

07/07/2023, UNKNOWN OR OTHER: UNKNOWN Unit is 2023 Airstream RV International 23 ft Travel Trailer. My concern is that the manufacturer does not provide proper tire inflation guidance. They only state what amounts to be the maximum tire pressure from the tire mfr. Not a recommended pressure which should be much lower. Goodyear tire info (supplied for my unit) states 80 psi max.
