Recall 24V771000 (08/11/2024): EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Ahara, Entrada, 2022-2025 FR3, Georgetown, 2021-2023 Dynamax Isata, 2021-2025 Encore, Mirada, Pursuit, 2025 Sportscoach, V-Cruise, V-Sport, V-Tour, 2023 Sunseeker, and 2024-2025 V-RV motorhomes, equipped with General Electric air conditioners with a soft start device with part number ICM870-16A-BH5400. The air conditioner soft start device may fail and overheat.
Fix: Dealers will replace the soft start, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 1, 2025. What a tech checks: Capacitors, the compressor, the control board and airflow. A unit that hums without starting is usually a capacitor; weak cooling with the compressor running is usually airflow or a refrigerant leak. Before you buy: After ten minutes, the vent air should be 16 to 22 degrees colder than the return.

Recall 25V539000 (22/08/2025): ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2026 East to West Entrada recreational vehicles. Due to an incorrectly wired 7-way harness, the trailer brakes may lock up when the RV brakes are applied.
Fix: Dealers will disconnect, cap, and mark the power wire as a tracer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 9, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-264-6664. Forest River's number for this recall is 504-1968.
What a tech checks: Voltage drop, grounds, the converter and the transfer switch. Melted shore-cord plugs and bad grounds cause most of the electrical complaints techs actually see. Before you buy: Battery at rest, converter output on shore power, GFCI test, every outlet.

07/22/2024, WHEELS,TIRES: Either Ford or Forest River installed valve stem extension on the vehicle along with poor quality hubcaps on the front wheels of the RV. On our first long distance trip our hubcap fell off and sheered the valve stem causing rapid loss of tire pressure.
