What owners reported to NHTSA

12/05/2016, STRUCTURE,LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES: ENTRY DOOR LATCH FAILED TRAPPING OCCUPANTS INSIDE THE FOREST RIVER GEORGETOWN 2015 MOTORHOME. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AT THE TIME. LATCH IS MANUFACTURED BY TRIMARK. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENED IN THE PAST YEAR. DURING PREVIOUS INCIDENT (APRIL 2015), THE MANUFACTURER (TRIMARK) REPLACED THE ITEM BUT DID NOT ADMIT RESPONSIBILITY.

10/25/2022, UNKNOWN OR OTHER: The fiberglass roof is separated on the passenger side. The separation is above the passenger side window, approximately 2 feet from the outer edge of the roof. There is also a crunchy sound when pressed against the coach. This area is not any of the curved outer edge.

09/07/2018, STRUCTURE: THE MID ENTRY DOOR WAS LOCKED AND WOULD NOT OPEN. CRAWLED INTO THE RV AND HAD TO TAKE THE DOOR LOCK APART IN ORDER TO OPEN. THIS TOOK 30 PLUS MINUTES AND IF A CHILD HAD BEEN LOCKED IN OR IF THERE WERE A FIRE THE SITUATION WOULD BE LIFE THREATENING. CHECKED THE LOCK AND THE DOOR LOCKING SHAFT BROKEN IN HALF. PHOTO ATTACHED THAT SHOWS BROKEN SHAFT. MY RV IS NOW WITH POULSBO RV TO BE FIXED.
