Recall 17V117000 (24/02/2017): EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:LINES AND FITTINGS
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2017 Stealth recreational vehicles, model CSFTFQ2817G-67 and Sandstorm recreational vehicles, model CSCT282GSLR-67. The liquid propane (LP) line under the vehicle may be damaged from contact with the axle, causing it to leak.
Fix: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will repair the vehicles, free of charge. The recall began on March 31, 2017. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-909-873-3777. Forest River's number for this recall is 67-02082017-0321.
What a tech checks: Regulator, lines and fittings, then the appliances: furnace, water heater, range. A proper pressure-drop leak test is the first thing a tech does on an LP complaint. Before you buy: Smell for gas with the tank open; have a shop do the leak test.

Axles, brakes, suspension and hitch: 1 complaint
What a tech checks: Bearings, brake magnets, worn shackle bolts and bent axles. A trailer that wears tires on the inside edge or pulls to one side usually has an axle or suspension problem. Before you buy: Bolts tight, springs not flat, brakes apply with the breakaway pin pulled.

08/03/2017, WHEELS: HAD A BLOW OUT ON 1 OUT OF 4 TIRES WITH LESS THAT 1200 MILES AND APPROXIMATELY 8 MONTHS OLD. I WAS TRAVELING 60MPH ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE TIRE BLEW AND IMMEDIATELY SHREDDED AND CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY TRAVEL TRAILER. I HAD CHECKED THE TIRE PRESSURE ABOUT 30 MINUTES BEFORE LEAVING MY HOUSE AND ALL TIRES WERE INFLATED TO THE RECOMMENDED 80PS COLDI. THE LOADED TRAILER WEIGHED WAS 11780LBS.
