Recall 10V337000 (26/07/2010): POWER TRAIN:AXLE ASSEMBLY
JAYCO IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010 JAYCO SELECT CAMPING TRAILERS MANUFACTURED FROM NOVEMBER 11, 2009 THROUGH APRIL 6, 2010. THE AXLE IS LOCATED TOO FAR FORWARD ALLOWING THE TIRES TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE WHEEL WELL, WHICH MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TIRE AND/OR THE WHEEL WELL.
Fix: JAYCO WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND DEALERS WILL REPAIR THE VEHICLES FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT JAYCO AT 1-574-825-0608.
What a tech checks: Bearings, brake magnets, worn shackle bolts and bent axles. A trailer that wears tires on the inside edge or pulls to one side usually has an axle or suspension problem. Before you buy: Bolts tight, springs not flat, brakes apply with the breakaway pin pulled.

05/04/2011, TIRES: DURO BRAND TIRES IN THE SIZES 13" 14" AND 15" USED FOR TRAVEL TRAILERS AND DESIGNATED "ST" ARE CRACKED IN THE SIDE WALLS AND TREADS WHEN RECEIVED AS NEW BY OUR DEALERSHIP. THEY ALSO SHOW THESE FAILURES WITHIN THE FIRST 18 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP AND DO NOT PASS THE STATE SAFETY INSPECTION.
