Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Entegra Coach Accolade, Accolade XL, Jayco Seneca and Seneca Prestige Class C motorhomes. The steering arm and tie rod bolts may have a defective seam that can fracture.

What a tech checks: The chassis (Ford, Freightliner, Mercedes, Ram) is serviced by the chassis maker's dealer, not the RV shop. RV techs handle the house, not the drivetrain. Before you buy: Chassis recalls are fixed free at the chassis maker's dealer.

Tires: 1 recall

Recall 22V121000 (03/03/2022): TIRES:VALVE

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2022 Seneca, Seneca Prestige, Entegra Accolade and Accolade XL motorhomes. The tire valve stem extension for the inner wheel may come into contact with the outer wheel rim opening and become damaged.

Fix: Daimler Trucks North America, LLC will remove the inner valve stem extension and stabilizer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2022. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is FL912 21V-921.

What a tech checks: Age, load range and pressure. RV tires age out before they wear out, and an underrated tire on a heavy trailer is a blowout waiting to happen. Before you buy: Read the DOT date and the load range on the sidewall.

What owners reported to NHTSA

04/06/2023, AIR BAGS: The vehicle sticker states that driver and passenger airbags are standard equipment. There are in fact NO AIRBAGS!! I brought this to the dealers attention at the time of our first service. The dealer said that it was a Freightliner issue and to contact Freightliner. I did so by email. Freightliner stated that their S2RV Chassis have never come with airbags and at this point they have no intention of adding them

03/26/2026, STRUCTURE: Side entrance do moving open and closed while driving down road in high winds. Door moved ~ 3" from closed position.

02/14/2022, AIR BAGS: The Jayco manufacturer window sticker for our newly purchased RV states it has driver and passenger airbags as standard equipment, and we bought the vehicle expecting it to have this safety feature. The vehicle does not have this safety feature and the manufacturer (Jayco) stated they will not do anything to rectify the missing vehicle safety equipment as promised.
