Recall 25V171000 (20/03/2025): EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER
Thor Motor Company (TMC) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Axis, Chateau, Four Winds, 2023-2025 Coleman, Echelon, Freedom Elite, Geneva, Outlaw, Quantum, Vegas, 2025 Eddie Bauer, Freedom Traveler, Pasadena, and 2024-2025 Magnitude motorhomes. The slide-Out room can be deployed without the parking brake engaged, allowing the room to extend while the vehicle is in motion.
Fix: Dealers will replace the park brake harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2025. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000325.
Motorhome chassis: 1 complaint
What a tech checks: The chassis (Ford, Freightliner, Mercedes, Ram) is serviced by the chassis maker's dealer, not the RV shop. RV techs handle the house, not the drivetrain. Before you buy: Chassis recalls are fixed free at the chassis maker's dealer.
Axles, brakes, suspension and hitch: 1 complaint
What a tech checks: Bearings, brake magnets, worn shackle bolts and bent axles. A trailer that wears tires on the inside edge or pulls to one side usually has an axle or suspension problem. Before you buy: Bolts tight, springs not flat, brakes apply with the breakaway pin pulled.

12/29/2025, STEERING,SERVICE BRAKES: High pressure line from the break/steering pump has broken twice. Broken lines are available for inspection. Safety of driver/passenger and other drivers were at risk. Steering very heavy and breaking almost impossible. Dealer has not looked at it. Nearest dealer is over 250 miles away. Local Mobile Mechanic picked up parts from local dealer and installed. No warning signs of problem. Ford has not requested
