Recall 24V426000 (11/06/2024): EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Indigo and Luminate motorhomes. The heat shield that protects the propane tank from engine exhaust may be too short, which can cause the propane tank to become overheated.
Fix: Dealers will install an overlapping heat shield, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 29, 2024. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-500-1020. TMC's number for this recall is RC000306.
Recall 25V653000 (30/09/2025): EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:TANK ASSEMBLY
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Luminate and Indigo recreational vehicles. The LP tank support tube may be too short and have an insufficient weld that may fracture, allowing the tank to detach.
Fix: Dealers will install support brackets on both sides of the LP tank support tubes, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 30, 2025. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000331.
What a tech checks: Regulator, lines and fittings, then the appliances: furnace, water heater, range. A proper pressure-drop leak test is the first thing a tech does on an LP complaint. Before you buy: Smell for gas with the tank open; have a shop do the leak test.

Motorhome chassis: 1 complaint
What a tech checks: The chassis (Ford, Freightliner, Mercedes, Ram) is serviced by the chassis maker's dealer, not the RV shop. RV techs handle the house, not the drivetrain. Before you buy: Chassis recalls are fixed free at the chassis maker's dealer.
Doors, windows, steps and lights: 1 complaint
What a tech checks: Mostly adjustments and wear: steps that stop halfway on a bad switch, doors out of alignment after a slide shifted, exterior lights with a corroded ground. Before you buy: Every door, lock, window and light.

10/28/2024, STEERING,SEAT BELTS: Seat belts on couch where passengers sit are not usable. Too short they will not come up from underneath the couch. The steering is off, vehicle is hard to manage. It’s brand new, bought July 2024. Steers to right easy, too left has resistance. Vehicle tends to fish tail easy. Told the dealer by email in July, at first they were going to have Ford look at it then said they would not.
