Recall 22V300000 (05/05/2022): EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:LINES AND FITTINGS
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2022 Scope, Tellaro, Sanctuary, Delano, Sequence, Tranquility, Rize, Synergy, Quantum, Magnitude, Geneva, Compass, Chateau, Four Winds, and 2022-2023 Tiburon, and Gemini vehicles. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.
Fix: Dealers will replace the quick disconnect fittings, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 27, 2022. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867.
What a tech checks: Regulator, lines and fittings, then the appliances: furnace, water heater, range. A proper pressure-drop leak test is the first thing a tech does on an LP complaint. Before you buy: Smell for gas with the tank open; have a shop do the leak test.

Recall 23V447000 (27/06/2023): EQUIPMENT:MECHANICAL:CARRIER/RACK
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Tranquility and 2022-2023 Sanctuary motorhomes. The R-bike rack arms may fracture and detach.
Fix: Dealers will replace the defective components of the bike rack, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 26, 2023. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000297.
12 volt and 120 volt electrical: 2 complaints
What a tech checks: Voltage drop, grounds, the converter and the transfer switch. Melted shore-cord plugs and bad grounds cause most of the electrical complaints techs actually see. Before you buy: Battery at rest, converter output on shore power, GFCI test, every outlet.

Motorhome chassis: 1 complaint
What a tech checks: The chassis (Ford, Freightliner, Mercedes, Ram) is serviced by the chassis maker's dealer, not the RV shop. RV techs handle the house, not the drivetrain. Before you buy: Chassis recalls are fixed free at the chassis maker's dealer.

11/23/2022, POWER TRAIN: At 10000 miles this developed issues with the transmission not shifting into gear. Dealer repair shop stated the “ISM” is not communicating with the vehicle. After, installing a replacement part, the problem remains.
06/17/2026, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: Secondary alternator, installed by Thor is improperly installed and not grounded causes multiple failures and fire risk.
01/22/2025, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: Second alternator repeated failures. Well known issue for these thors with Ballard 170XT alternator
