Recall 23V121000 (24/02/2023): EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2018-2021 Hurricane and Windsport recreational vehicles. The driver and front passenger overhead cabinets may detach.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and reinstall the overhead cabinets, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 15, 2023. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000290.

Recall 20V339000 (09/06/2020): VISIBILITY:GLASS, SIDE/REAR
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2020-2021 ACE, 2021 Four Winds and 2020 Gemini, Axis, Compass, Delano, Windsport, Hurricane, Outlaw, and Vegas motorhomes. The adhesive bond between the glass and the metal hinge frame of the frameless windows may fail which would then allow the glass to detach and fall out.
Fix: TMC will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the frameless windows for proper adhesive bond strength, replacing the windows as necessary, free of charge. The recall began July 10, 2020. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000192.
What a tech checks: Mostly adjustments and wear: steps that stop halfway on a bad switch, doors out of alignment after a slide shifted, exterior lights with a corroded ground. Before you buy: Every door, lock, window and light.

Recall 20V498000 (21/08/2020): ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Thor Motor Coach (Thor) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Hurricane and Windsport motorhomes, models 27B, 29M, 32T, 33X, 34J, 34R and 35M. The electronic control center circuit board may be damaged from voltages over 17 volts causing damage to the circuit board.
Fix: Thor will notify owners, and dealers will add an additional circuit module to the existing component board to provide reverse polarity and over-current protection, free of charge. The recall began October 20, 2020. Owners may contact Thor customer service at 1-877-855-2867. Thor's number for this recall is RC000203.
What a tech checks: Voltage drop, grounds, the converter and the transfer switch. Melted shore-cord plugs and bad grounds cause most of the electrical complaints techs actually see. Before you buy: Battery at rest, converter output on shore power, GFCI test, every outlet.

10/03/2022, EQUIPMENT,STRUCTURE: The contact owns a 2020 Thor Windsport RV built on a 2019 Ford F53 Chassis. The contact stated that the screws used to secure the overhead cabinets in place above the driver’s and passenger’s seats were extremely loose. The contact was concerned that the cabinets might fall while driving, causing an injury or even a crash.
