Recall 23V643000 (20/09/2023): EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:OVEN/STOVE/COOKTOP
Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2016-2024 Allegro Bus, and 2017-2024 Zephyr motorhomes. The 240-Volt induction cooktop may not be grounded, which can create an electrical shock hazard if the wires short-circuit.
Fix: Dealers will install a ground for the metal junction box, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 20, 2023. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-133.
What a tech checks: Regulator, lines and fittings, then the appliances: furnace, water heater, range. A proper pressure-drop leak test is the first thing a tech does on an LP complaint. Before you buy: Smell for gas with the tank open; have a shop do the leak test.

Recall 21V680000 (05/11/2021): SEAT BELTS:REAR/OTHER:ANCHORAGE
Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Allegro Breeze, Allegro Red, Allegro, Allegro Bus, Phaeton, and 2018-2021 Zephyr recreational vehicles. The sofa seat belts may not have been installed correctly, which could result in unsecured passengers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
Fix: Dealers will inspect and repair the seat belts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2021. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-118.
What a tech checks: Mostly adjustments and wear: steps that stop halfway on a bad switch, doors out of alignment after a slide shifted, exterior lights with a corroded ground. Before you buy: Every door, lock, window and light.

10/01/2021, FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL: The contact owns a 2018 Tiffin Allegro Bus. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would independently downshift as the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) warning light would illuminate.
