Recall 21V680000 (05/11/2021): SEAT BELTS:REAR/OTHER:ANCHORAGE
Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Allegro Breeze, Allegro Red, Allegro, Allegro Bus, Phaeton, and 2018-2021 Zephyr recreational vehicles. The sofa seat belts may not have been installed correctly, which could result in unsecured passengers. Fix: Dealers will inspect and repair the seat belts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2021. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-118.
What a tech checks: Mostly adjustments and wear: steps that stop halfway on a bad switch, doors out of alignment after a slide shifted, exterior lights with a corroded ground. Before you buy: Every door, lock, window and light.
12 volt and 120 volt electrical: 1 recall
Recall 22V068000 (08/02/2022): ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Allegro and Allegro Breeze motorhomes. The buss bar may be improperly secured, which can cause electrical components in the DC Distribution Panel to overheat.
Fix: Dealers will replace the buss bar with a cable, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 18, 2022. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-0261. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-120.
What a tech checks: Voltage drop, grounds, the converter and the transfer switch. Melted shore-cord plugs and bad grounds cause most of the electrical complaints techs actually see. Before you buy: Battery at rest, converter output on shore power, GFCI test, every outlet.

Motorhome chassis: 2 complaints
What a tech checks: The chassis (Ford, Freightliner, Mercedes, Ram) is serviced by the chassis maker's dealer, not the RV shop. RV techs handle the house, not the drivetrain. Before you buy: Chassis recalls are fixed free at the chassis maker's dealer.
Other: 1 complaint
Structure, roof and leaks: 1 complaint
What a tech checks: Roof sealant, seams, window and slide seals, and the frame. Water intrusion shows up as delamination, soft floors and stained ceilings months after the leak started. Before you buy: Press the sidewalls and walk the floor; look at every seam and seal.
