2025 Winnebago Minnie Winnie problems: recalls, complaints and what to check

NHTSA has 3 recalls and 1 owner complaint on file for the 2025 Winnebago Minnie Winnie. Here is what they are, what a technician checks for each kind of fault, and how to look one over before you buy it.

Tires: 1 recall

Recall 25V007000 (13/01/2025): EQUIPMENT:MECHANICAL:SPARE TIRE MOUNT/RACK

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2025 Minnie Winnie and Spirit motorhomes. The spare tire carrier mounting bolts may loosen, allowing the carrier to detach.

Fix: Dealers will inspect, replace, and correctly torque the bolts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 3, 2025. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 194.

What a tech checks: Age, load range and pressure. RV tires age out before they wear out, and an underrated tire on a heavy trailer is a blowout waiting to happen. Before you buy: Read the DOT date and the load range on the sidewall.

LP gas and gas appliances: 1 recall

Recall 25V075000 (10/02/2025): EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:TANK ASSEMBLY

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2025 Minnie Winnie, Navion, Porto, Spirit, View, and Vita recreational vehicles. The LP tank mounting bracket fasteners may have been improperly tightened, causing the tank to detach.

Fix: Dealers will inspect and correctly tighten the LP tank mounting assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2025. Owners may call Winnebago customer service at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 195.

What a tech checks: Regulator, lines and fittings, then the appliances: furnace, water heater, range. A proper pressure-drop leak test is the first thing a tech does on an LP complaint. Before you buy: Smell for gas with the tank open; have a shop do the leak test.
