Recall 23V663000 (29/09/2023): ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Revel motorhomes. The cables near the lithium batteries may contact the battery hold-down brackets, which can damage the cables and cause a short circuit.
Fix: Dealers will reroute the current carrying cables and secure them, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 28, 2023. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 178.
Recall 24V318000 (07/05/2024): ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING
Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2017-2025 Revel, 2020-2025 Navion, Porto, View, Vita, 2022-2023 Adventure Van, and 2024-2025 Ekko motorhomes. Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) wires can be caught in the seat mechanism when the driver or passenger seats are adjusted.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and re-route the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 26, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 185.
What a tech checks: Voltage drop, grounds, the converter and the transfer switch. Melted shore-cord plugs and bad grounds cause most of the electrical complaints techs actually see. Before you buy: Battery at rest, converter output on shore power, GFCI test, every outlet.

Recall 22V863000 (21/11/2022): STRUCTURE:BODY
Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Revel motorhomes. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit.
Fix: Dealers will install a power switch and a relay to the BT12 module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 20, 2023. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 171.
What a tech checks: Roof sealant, seams, window and slide seals, and the frame. Water intrusion shows up as delamination, soft floors and stained ceilings months after the leak started. Before you buy: Press the sidewalls and walk the floor; look at every seam and seal.

Recall 23V032000 (27/01/2023): EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS
Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2023 Revel camper vans. The Tire and Loading Information Label has an incorrect tire size listed as R16, when the tire size should be R17. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Fix: Winnebago will provide a new corrected label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 24, 2023. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 172.
Axles, brakes, suspension and hitch: 2 complaints
What a tech checks: Bearings, brake magnets, worn shackle bolts and bent axles. A trailer that wears tires on the inside edge or pulls to one side usually has an axle or suspension problem. Before you buy: Bolts tight, springs not flat, brakes apply with the breakaway pin pulled.

What a tech checks: The chassis (Ford, Freightliner, Mercedes, Ram) is serviced by the chassis maker's dealer, not the RV shop. RV techs handle the house, not the drivetrain. Before you buy: Chassis recalls are fixed free at the chassis maker's dealer.

10/06/2023, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: Winnebego Revel BMB44E 15B443122871; The Lithionics battery installation allows movement which has caused fraying of insulation on a wire and resulting in a spark and activation of the 250A circuit breaker. This is part of the Winnebego aftermarket build of the Mercedes Sprinter based camper van.
09/26/2025, POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: The secondary alternator on our 2023 Winnebago Revel failed and caught fire. Fortunately, it happened when the vehicle was stopped so the fire was quickly put out and the damage limited to the alternator itself and the belt that ran the alternator. Had the failure happened in motion, a broken belt could have completely disabled the van, possibly endangering other traffic. Had we not noticed and extinguished the fire
07/28/2023, SUSPENSION,SERVICE BRAKES: We bought Winnebago Revel RV from La Mesa RV center at Davis, CA in May 2023. We took a trip from San Jose, CA to San Luis Obispo in June, the brake fluid was total running out during our driving on Hyw 1! We contact a local Mercedes-Benz shop, they found out the issue was caused by an aftermarket suspension installed improperly. 05/31/2023, STRUCTURE: The contact owns a 2023 Winnebago Revel built on a 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. The contact stated that the awning alarm was chiming every 30 seconds. The contact disconnected the awning fuse to stop the alarm from chiming. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where an unknown repair was performed; however, the failure recurred. 01/22/2025, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: The secondary alternator of our 2023 Winnebago Revel failed, was smoking heavily, and was seconds away from catching fire had I not stood by with a fire extinguishers.
