Progressive Dynamics Charge Wizard and WFCO converter fault codes
Progressive Dynamics converters with the Charge Wizard (built in or the plug-in pendant) blink the mode. The pendant button forces a mode for testing. WFCO 8900 series has no status light on most models; you read its mode from the output voltage.
Converter: LED on steady
Boost, 14.4V. Normal after a discharge. Should drop to normal within hours as current falls. Steady for days on a full battery is a stuck mode or a battery that will not take charge.
Converter: 1 blink per second
Normal, 13.6V. Default running mode with a charged battery.
Converter: 1 blink every 6 to 8 seconds
Storage, 13.2V. After about 30 hours with no load change. Normal on a parked unit.
Converter: 2 to 3 blinks per second
Equalize, 14.4V for 15 minutes. Desulfation pulse every 21 hours in storage. Normal.
Converter: LED off
No output or no 120V. Check the 120V breaker to the converter, the AC plug, then the DC output fuses on the converter.
Converter: 13.2V
Trickle or float. Normal with a charged battery and little load.
Converter: 13.6V
Absorption. Normal running.
Converter: 14.4V
Bulk. After a discharge. A WFCO that never shows 14.4 on a low battery is the classic complaint; it needs a real load drop to trigger and often will not.
Converter: Output present, no battery charge
Fuse or wiring, not the converter. Check the reverse polarity fuses on the converter output and the battery disconnect. Measure at the battery, then at the converter.

Codes come from the maker manuals and public service sheets. Your model's own chart always wins, and LP and 120 volt work belongs to a qualified technician.
