Multiplex and networked controls
Networked systems (like OneControl or Firefly) run lights, slides and tanks through modules that talk to each other. When one module drops, odd things stop working.
The short version
- Look at which things quit together. Things that fail together share a module or a network cable.
- Check 12V and ground at the module first. Modules reset or freeze on low voltage.
- A loose or damaged network cable can drop every device past it.
- Use the system's own diagnostics or app to see which modules are online before you replace hardware.
Numbers
- Bus termination: about 60 Ω end to end, power off
