Generator runs but coach has no power
2017 class A, 5.5 kW generator, automatic transfer switch. Generator running, shore cord unplugged
Customer says: The generator starts and runs great, but nothing in the coach has 120V.
Tests you can run
- Generator main breaker
- 120V at the generator output lugs
- 120V at the transfer switch generator input
- 120V at the transfer switch output to the coach panel
- Listen for the transfer switch when the generator starts
- Voltage at the transfer switch coil
- Coach panel main breaker
