No hot water on electric
2020 travel trailer, 6 gal gas/electric water heater. 30A shore power
Customer says: We get hot water on gas but nothing when we use electric.
Tests you can run
- Tank full? Lift the relief valve lever
- Water heater breaker
- 120V at the element, switch on
- Element ohms, power off, wires off
- Thermostat continuity, power off
- Check the electric switch inside
- Replace the thermostat and ECO
