2019 travel trailer, 6 gal gas/electric water heater with direct spark ignition. 30A shore
Customer says: On gas the water heater clicks, lights, then goes out and the reset light comes on.
Tests you can run
- 12V at the ignition board during the try
- Watch the burner through the sight hole
- LP pressure at the water heater during the try
- Pull the electrode and look at it
- Ohms from the board's ground terminal to the burner tube
- Replace the ignition board
