Stoves and ovens
Burner problems are mostly dirt, bad flame adjustment or a failing thermocouple on the oven.
The short version
- Yellow, lazy flame: dirty burner or air shutter adjustment.
- Oven pilot goes out: check the thermocouple and pilot flame size.
- Burner won't light with the igniter: check the spark and the gas flow before blaming the igniter.
- Check the LP pressure if every burner is weak.
Numbers
- Thermocouple output hot: about 25 to 30 mV; under 20 is done
