Safe-T-Alert LP and CO detector fault codes
Press TEST during warm-up or normal operation: red flashes and the alarm sounds. Test weekly, before each trip and after storage. Press TEST-MUTE during an alarm to silence it for 2 minutes; it will not mute a malfunction.
Safe-T-Alert: Solid green
Normal. Nothing to do.
Safe-T-Alert: Flashing yellow
Warm-up after power is applied. Wait a minute or two for solid green.
Safe-T-Alert: Flashing red, continuous tone
Gas alarm. Shut the cylinders, ventilate, no switches or flames. Then leak test the LP system. False alarms: hairspray, cleaners, a new carpet, low battery under about 10 V, a contaminated sensor after storage.
Safe-T-Alert: Flashing red, beep every 30 s
Alarm during a mute cycle. Mute was pressed. The alarm beeps every 30 s until gas levels drop, then flashes green until the mute cycle ends (2 minutes).
Safe-T-Alert: Red and green alternating, two beeps every 15 s
Malfunction. Sensor failed or contaminated. Mute does nothing. Check 12V at the detector (7 to 16 VDC), then replace the detector.
Safe-T-Alert: Chirp with low coach voltage
Low voltage. Charge the battery; most 12V detectors need 7 V or more. Find the drain.
Safe-T-Alert: Chirp, detector 5 to 7 years old
End of life. Replace it. The install or manufacture date is on the back.

Codes come from the maker manuals and public service sheets. Your model's own chart always wins, and LP and 120 volt work belongs to a qualified technician.
