Black tank always reads full
2019 travel trailer, tank monitor with probe sensors. 30A shore
Customer says: We dumped the black tank and it still says full.
Tests you can run
- Dump it, then look in the tank through the toilet with a flashlight
- Read all the tanks on the monitor
- 12V and ground at the monitor panel
- Unplug the black tank's top sensor wire and read the panel
- Resistance from each black tank probe to the ground probe, tank empty
- Flush the tank hard with a tank wand, then fill and dump twice
- Replace the monitor panel
