Tank sensors
Tank monitors are notorious for wrong readings. Most problems are dirty sensors, not wiring.
The short version
- Black tank reads full when it's empty? Usually waste or paper stuck on the sensors.
- Flush the tank thoroughly before you blame the monitor.
- Check the monitor's power and ground, and the wiring to the tank.
- Some newer tanks use external sensors. Know which type it has before you test.
Numbers
- SeeLevel OPn: open wire or ground to the sender strip
- SeeLevel Err: sender fault
