Tank monitors: seelevel ii + lippert myrv

SeeLevel II (Garnet)

Sender panels are self-adhesive circuit boards stuck to the OUTSIDE of the tank. They read the level through the tank wall and auto-calibrate to the length they are cut. Each sender talks to the display over a 2-wire cable with error-checked data, so the display can tell you what is wrong.

OPn|Open|Sender unresponsive or open wiring. On LPG: open wiring or bad resistance sender.

Sht|Short|Shorted sender or wiring. (LPG short reads zero all the time.)

Err|Data error|Bad data, damaged wiring or electrical interference.

ntP / nbo|Stacked senders|ntP = no top sender received. nbo = no bottom sender received. Both missing = OPn.

bot / toP / sin|Single sender setup|Shows how the single sender is programmed. Informational.

Sender diagnostics

Hold the tank button, then press BATTERY/DIAGNOSTICS ('dIA' shows). Release both: 'P26' = 26% signal power. Press the tank button again: 'h23' = senders total 23 in. tall.

MIN SIGNAL POWER|5%

Low signal power = sender peeling off the tank, heavy buildup inside the tank, bad wiring, low battery voltage or a bad sender. Wrong height = the auto-calibration is off or senders are mis-programmed.

SeeLevel setup

Number of senders per tank (install only): 12V off, hold BATTERY + the tank button (FRESH/GREY/BLACK), 12V on. FrS/GrS/bLS shows, release. Display shows 1SE or 2SE; press the tank button to switch, then turn 12V off. Max 2 senders per tank.

LPG calibrate: tank must be FULL. Power off, hold BATTERY + LPG, power on. 'LP2' then 'dun'. Turn 12V off to finish.

Lippert MyRV tank monitor

Monitors up to 9 tanks: inputs 1-7 water tanks only, 8-9 fuel tank sensors only. 4 latching relays can run devices like a water heater or pump. The IGN FEED input is gas water heater ignition feedback. Harness wires are 18 ga minimum.

WHITE|Ground (-) to the EMPTY sensor

YELLOW|LOW level sensor

GREEN|MID level sensor

RED|FULL level sensor

PINK|Signal to the monitor 'Tank' input

The resistor pack screws onto each tank sensor with an eyelet. Check those eyelets and the white ground lead first on wrong or stuck readings.
