2017 travel trailer, Dometic 8 cu ft absorption fridge. 30A shore
Customer says: The fridge was cold the whole drive. We've been parked two days and now it's 55 inside.
Fridge is on auto, running on electric. Camper is parked on a sloped site, no leveling blocks.
Tests you can run
- Put a level on the freezer floor
- Feel the boiler and absorber from the outside vent
- 120V heating element amps
- Smell and look at the back of the cooling unit
- Thermistor on the fins
- Switch to gas and watch it for an hour
- Replace the cooling unit
