Is it the cooling unit?
A failed cooling unit won't cool on any mode. Rule out everything else before you sell one.
The short version
- Check it cools on both gas and electric. If one works, it's not the cooling unit.
- Look for yellow powder or an ammonia smell near the back. That's a leak and the unit is done.
- Check the fridge is level (for older units) and the rear vents aren't blocked.
- Check the boiler area gets hot on either mode. Heat but no cooling after hours points to the unit.
Shop tip
Never run a fridge with an ammonia smell inside the coach. Ventilate and shut it down.
